The sedentary lifestyle of people has turned them into helpless victims to many illnesses, ranging from insomnia, anxiety, depression to hormonal disbalances. Women who suffer from PCOS and PCOD, without proper care and habits, the situation only gets worse out there. People are mostly habituated to keep themselves awake till late in the night and wake up late enough that they prefer skipping breakfast to reach office on time. While breakfast is the most important meal of the day, running late too automatically upsets the tone of the day. Now, this kinda routine is what people need to abandon and adopt a new one.
Books and blogs have already been published discussing the importance of having a morning routine and how it is one of the biggest mantras of successful people around the world. Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, for instance, begins his day at 3:45 a.m every day. Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors wakes up at 6 a.m every day even before she became the CEO of GM or Indra Nooyi, CEO of Pepsico wakes up at 4 am and is at her desk by 7.
Waking up early allows one to use that extra time when most of the world is lost in slumber to think and organize your schedule for the day, to complete any pending or extra work, to work out and read, to have the first meal of the day peacefully.
Now let us understand the benefits of having a definite morning routine:-
- It is believed that having a morning routine enhances one’s productivity.
- It helps in building a confident mindset.
- One is unbelievably energetic and happy throughout the day.
- Better organized at work and home.
- Slowly cures sleeplessness and anxiety.
- In an effective morning routine, one will find himself always ahead of others.
- One good habit will lead to more good habits.
There are two ways to live this life, either you rule your day or the day rules you out and it can go on for years, to be bonded to some habits subconsciously. So, wake up and start fresh! Though waking up really early is not very feasible for people thriving in the real world, but start giving yourself 15 minutes extra in the morning and then 30 and so on and notice the difference that you create.
