After BJP, now Congress has decided to pay respect to their senior leaders

No one knows when the camel of politics will sit. The latest example of this is clearly visible in the behavior change of two big parties like BJP, Congress. While the BJP is not missing out on honoring its founding leader and former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani and former Union Minister Murli Manohar Joshi, the Congress has also rejected former Prime Minister Narasimha Rao now has decided to pay respect to him for respect.

The Congress has adopted this step after taunting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP leaders. PV Narasimha Rao has been a stalwart of the Congress party during his time. While being the Minister of Human Resource Development, he laid the foundation of modern education of the country, after becoming Prime Minister, he took many important decisions on the foreign policy, defense policy, trade policy, economy of the country. Former President Pranab Mukherjee, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, former Union Minister P Chidambaram, Minister Jairam Ramesh and many Congress party veterans took part in the centenary year celebrations of the former Prime Minister in Hyderabad on Friday.

The message of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, and former President Rahul Gandhi was also read on the occasion. In her message, Sonia Gandhi said that after long experience in state and national politics, he became Prime Minister at a time when the country was facing a severe economic crisis and due to his bold leadership and decisions, the country was able to overcome many challenges. Recalling the budget of July 24, 1991, he said that his budget had opened the way for the transformation of the country’s economy. His entire tenure will be remembered for many important decisions taken on his political, social and foreign policies.

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi said in his message that the contribution of former Prime Minister Narasimha in shaping modern India will always be remembered. The bold steps taken during his tenure opened the way for economic changes. The tenures of PV Narasimha Rao and Dr. Manmohan Singh will be remembered for liberal decisions. He also said that this program will give the youth of the country an opportunity to learn about the development story of India and those who make it possible.

On August 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will be present in Ayodhya to lay the foundation stone for Ram temple and lay the foundation brick. Apart from this, Chief Ministers of all the states are also being invited to the program. According to the information received, the founder member of BJP and former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani, former Union Minister Murli Manohar Joshi will also be invited.

Uma Bharti has also expressed her desire to visit Ayodhya. Apart from this, for the last few years, BJP has raised the value of both its senior leaders. After the spectacular results of the Lok Sabha elections in 2014, there were reports of neglect of the two leaders for the next few years. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi had advised party leaders to stay away from the culture of touching the feet during an event.
After this, the BJP leaders had also started avoiding meeting Advani.

According to a member of LK Advani’s secretariat, just before 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the former Deputy Prime Minister started giving advice to BJP leaders, sadly. Dr. Murali Manohar Joshi made a scathing comment on the five years of functioning of the Central Government. Not only this, both the leaders were kept away from the ceremony at the time of issuing the manifesto for Lok Sabha elections 2029.

The Congress party barely remembered former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao during the UPA-1 and 2 governments. He continued to be neglected even at party functions. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP leaders have repeatedly criticized the party’s attitude towards the Congress. The Congress also took out this on the insult of Advani and Dr. Joshi.

The effect of this was that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself went to LK Advani after a resounding victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He touched his feet and took his blessings. Dr. Joshi also got respect. Not only this, the central government also showed liberal attitude in providing government accommodation to both senior leaders to live in Lutyens zone.
